Building X is the first new building on the Werkstadt site in Zurich Altstetten
and thus lays the foundation for its internal densification. The new building is intended to provide a contemporary response to the climate crisis: Reducing emissions during construction and operation, resource-saving construction, reusing components, adaptability, disassembly for later reuse, system separation and harmless recycling of building materials into the energy and material cycle.
