The ‘Werkstadt Building D’ comprises Hall D South (former wheel turntable), Hall D Central (former smithy) and Hall D North (former boiler house). As a central component of the former main workshops of Swiss Federal Railways SBB, these are listed by the Canton. Hall D South and Hall D Central are undergoing extensive renovation. In Hall D North, an energy centre will be built for the buildings in Werkstadt D and A.
