Renens, Quai Ouest, building TRAVIS

As part of a collaborative project, the areas around the railway station in Renens will be transformed into an attractive public transport interface. Public spaces and the adjacent buildings will also be upgraded. 30,000 people live and 15,000 work within a 10 minute walk or bus ride from the train station. There are also three institutes of higher learning in the vicinity: the university, ETH Lausanne and the ECAL School of Arts and Crafts.
