Basel, Meret Oppenheim high-rise building
In summer 2019, Basel SBB station got a new pedestrian zone. In the past few years, the Meret Oppenheim high-rise was built, a new underground logistics delivery was realised and quality of stay was created with the upgrading of Meret Oppenheim-Platz. A 19-storey tower was built on a six-storey base. A restaurant area was created on the ground floor, service areas were realised on the basement floors and over 150 attractive flats were built in the high-rise area, which are rented and have been occupied since January 2019.
